Sign-up on ActionUdaipur, create a project plan on the portal, invite volunteers, and clearly specify what kind of support is needed from the district administration, and you are done. Let us see each step in detail:
Sign-up on the portal and post your ideas and action plan on the portal as a project, invite volunteers, and clearly specify what kind of support is needed from the local administration and volunteers.
The team of moderators will look at the project details, evaluate it for viability and feasibility for actual execution, and take appropriate action i.e. Approve, Decline, or ask the project owner for more information. Once the project is approved, it will be published on the portal for the public.
Share your projects on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest etc. to encourage more people to join your initiative.
Once a project is published on the portal, people can view ongoing projects and if they want they can volunteer for project(s) and provide required resources as per their capacity.
Once the project is executed, the project owner can mark the project as closed (completed) and can upload pictures of the work done (e.g. cleaning a location, distribution of medicines, clothes, etc.). The project owner can also share and promote the project on social networks.
